The vehicle will be checked for any obvious issues, such as major fluid leaks, and will then be started and run until it reaches operating temperature which can take between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the vehicle.

Empire Auto Storage considers this the most important aspect of ensuring your vehicle remains in proper working condition. Regular exercise move the lubricants around the working systems on the cars and ensures that moving parts do not seize up and batteries are maintained. In addition it helps ensure that tires are moved and helps avoid flat spotting and other issues associated with a vehicle remaining idle for any length of time.
After completing the Start Up Service, the vehicle will be driven for approximately 30 minutes around local, open roads following our very strict driving procedures. During this time all driving controls will be utilized including indicators, brakes, sound systems, steering, wipers, air conditioning and any other installed system.
A report will be provided at the end of the exercise period with emphasis on any noted issues or concerns and advise on how these may be addressed.
